CCSR Coin Challenge

CCSR students are working together to oversee a school-wide “Coin Challenge” to mostly benefit Boston Children's Hospital.  A small amount of the contributions will be used to support a project to “Keep Our Mail Carriers Safe”.

CCSR - Lift the Litter Project

4th and 5th Grade students involved in CCSR at the Brooks have launched a community service project to clean-up trash around our city called “Lift the Litter.”

In partnership with state and local advocates, Medford Public Schools has launched the Safe Routes to School family travel survey. Please take a moment to complete it!

The responses will help us identify routes and other resources to encourage and enable more Medford students to walk, bike, and roll to school.

MHS Students Represent at Massachusetts Invention Convention

MHS students Gabriel Nascimento and Riz Shrestha represented Medford in the first annual Massachusetts Invention Convention. They presented the design process of their original prototypes to judges from industry and the MIT Lemelson Center at the convention, held at Hopkinton High School.

Last week, local author Maureen Harrington and her inspirational pup, Ivy, joined Medford elementary school students and their families for an interactive reading and discussion of Ivy the Very Determined Dog.

Thank you, Ms. Harrington, Ivy, Reading Department faculty and elementary administrators for this great event! Special thanks to the Roberts Elementary School for hosting the meet-and-greet.
